FORMFIELD – Terms of Business (Bespoke 3D Design Services)

These Terms of Business apply to all bespoke 3D design services provided by FORMFIELD. By commissioning a project, you agree to the terms below.

1. Services Offered

Starter Project – £250 fixed

  • Ideal for small, focused designs (single object, accessory, or visualization).
  • Deposit: £50 (non-refundable).
  • Deliverables: 1x STL file + 1x Blender (.blend) file.
  • Revisions: Up to 5 reasonable alteration requests.
  • Timeline: Approx. 2 – 4 weeks from receipt of deposit. Delays will be communicated clearly.

Enterprise Project – £250+ bespoke

  • For larger, more complex projects (multi-part assemblies, interiors, automotive, advanced modeling).
  • Deposit: 50% of quoted price (non-refundable).
  • Deliverables: STL + Blender files, and rendered previews (on request).
  • Revisions: Unlimited alterations for 1 month from first draft delivery.
  • Timeline: Quoted individually (typically 2–6 weeks).

2. Payment Terms

  • Deposits are payable upfront via PayPal (link provided in invoice/quote).
  • Remaining balance due on completion, before delivery of final files.
  • All prices quoted in GBP (£).
  • Work begins only once the deposit has cleared.

3. Alterations & Scope

  • “Alterations” mean reasonable adjustments within the agreed project scope.
  • Substantial changes (e.g., new concept, major redesign) may require re-quoting.
  • Starter projects: maximum 5 alterations.
  • Enterprise projects: unlimited alterations for 1 month from first draft; additional revisions beyond this period may incur fees.

4. Delivery

  • Standard deliverables: STL + Blender file(s).
  • Secure file transfer via email, download link, or shared drive.
  • Work is deemed complete upon final file delivery.

5. Intellectual Property & Usage

  • Upon final payment, the client receives non-exclusive rights to use the designs commercially or personally.
  • FORMFIELD retains the right to showcase non-confidential work in its portfolio and marketing.
  • Reselling or redistributing editable files as templates is not permitted.
  • Confidential projects: an NDA may be signed on request.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has started.
  • If FORMFIELD cancels a project, the client will be refunded in full.
  • Projects paused or inactive for more than 14 days without client response may be archived and subject to reactivation fees.

7. Liability

  • FORMFIELD provides digital design files only. We are not responsible for:
    • Print failures due to client hardware/material settings.
    • Misuse of files after delivery.
    • Any indirect or consequential damages.
  • All files are provided “as is,” with best efforts made to ensure printability and functionality.

8. Governing Law

  • These Terms of Business are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
